Tuba Kılıç
Tuba is afgestudeerd aan de afdeling Fotografie van de Mimar Sinan Universiteit voor Schone Kunsten en de Willem de Kooning Academie. Met haar brede opleiding in verschillende vakgebieden en een passie voor culinaire kunsten, heeft ze een unieke carrière opgebouwd. Na haar studie in Nederland begon ze in de culinaire wereld en werkte als chef-kok bij het Dutch Design Museum ‘Het Nieuwe Instituut’. Ze richtte zich op voedsel, voedselculturen en -beleid in verschillende restaurants en organisaties. Naast haar werk in de keuken heeft Tuba ook bijgedragen aan het onderwijs en studentenbegeleiding aan de Willem de Kooning Academie. Momenteel volgt ze een master aan het Dutch Art Institute – Roaming Academy en werkt ze actief aan evenementenproductie, projectmanagement en interculturele samenwerking in kunst en design.
Merthan Anık
Merthan is een architect en fotograaf uit Diyarbakır, bekend om zijn werk in documentaire- en straatfotografie. Hij heeft lesgegeven en projecten geleid in fotografie voor jongeren en kinderen.
Sinan Kılıç
Sinan, woonachtig in Izmir, is oprichter van het ‘Mahzen Photos’ fotografiecollectief. Hij heeft zijn werk tentoongesteld op diverse nationale en internationale fotografie-evenementen. Sinan gelooft in de kracht van fotografie om de tijd vast te leggen en het sociale bewustzijn te vormen en richt zich daarom voornamelijk op documentairefotografie. Hij organiseert fotografieworkshops voor kinderen en geeft les in verschillende workshopformats. Ook heeft hij in Izmir een onafhankelijk kunstinitiatief genaamd ‘No 238’ opgericht
Paşa İmrek
Paşa, geboren in het district Hilvan van Urfa, woont nog steeds in de stad. Hij studeerde af aan de Faculteit Landbouw en volgde vakken in Sociologie. Hij is medeoprichter en manager van diverse platforms en verenigingen. Zijn fotografie richt zich op sociale en realistische thema’s en hij maakt gebruik van zowel digitale als analoge camera’s voor straat- en spontane foto’s. Hij volgt de Syrische oorlog en de daaropvolgende migratiegolf op de voet. Als lid van het collectief ‘4RO PHOTOS’ neemt hij deel aan activiteiten van het Red Photography platform. Paşa heeft zijn werk zowel nationaal als internationaal geëxposeerd en zijn foto’s zijn gepubliceerd in verschillende kranten, tijdschriften en op platforms.
Cennet Kuşca
Cennet, woonachtig in Mersin, is zowel fotograaf als wiskundeleraar. Haar fotografiereis begon in 2011 met een basistraining bij BUFSAD. In 2014 sloot ze zich aan bij het ‘Mahzen Photos’ fotografiecollectief. Cennet specialiseert zich in documentaire- en straatfotografie en is sinds 2011 actief in het veld.
Burcu Böcekler
Burcu, geboren in İzmir, voltooide haar bachelor en Ph.D. in Kunstgeschiedenis aan de Ege Universiteit en behaalde een master in Fotografie aan de Dokuz Eylül Universiteit. Sinds 2009 is ze als docent verbonden aan de afdeling Fotografie en Video van de Yıldız Technische Universiteit. In 2021 werd ze benoemd tot universitair hoofddocent in de fotografie. Burcu is gespecialiseerd in fotogeschiedenis en -theorie, met expertise in cyanotype, van dyke brown, gomdruk en zwart-wit doka technieken. Ze geeft zowel bachelor- als mastercursussen en heeft actief deelgenomen aan internationale conferenties en festivals, waar ze workshops heeft georganiseerd en haar fotografische werken heeft geëxposeerd.

Tuba Kılıç
is a graduate of the Photography Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and the Fine Arts Department of Willem de Kooning Academy. Combining her extensive education in diverse fields and institutions with culinary arts, she embarked on a unique journey. After completing her education in the Netherlands, Tuba entered the culinary world. As head chef at the Dutch Design Museum ‘Het Nieuwe Instituut’, she worked on food, food cultures, and policies at various restaurants and organizations. Alongside her culinary career, she has contributed to education through roles in student admissions, Dutch Culture, project courses, and administrative tasks at Willem de Kooning Academy. Currently, she is pursuing a
master’s degree at the Dutch Art Institute – Roaming Academy and actively applies her expertise in event production, project management, and intercultural collaboration in art and design.
Merthan Anık
is an architect and photographer from Diyarbakır, renowned for his work in documentary and street photography. He has served as an instructor and project manager in photography projects aimed at young people and children.
Sinan Kılıç
Based in İzmir, Sinan Kılıç is a founder of the ‘Mahzen Photos’ photography collective. He has showcased his work at numerous national and international photography festivals and exhibitions. Believing in the power of photography to "witness time and shaping social consciousness," he has focused extensively on documentary photography. Sinan organizes photography workshops for children and serves as an instructor in various photography workshop formats. He is also a founder of an independent art initiative called ‘No 238’ in Izmir.
Paşa İmrek
was born in the Hilvan district of Urfa, and still lives in the city. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture and attended the Sociology department. Paşa has been a founding member and manager of various platforms and associations. His photography focuses on social and realistic subjects, using both digital and analog cameras for street and candid photos. He closely follows the Syrian war and the subsequent migration wave. As a member of the ‘4RO PHOTOS’ collective group, he also participates in the Red Photography platform activities. Paşa has exhibited his work nationally and internationally, and his photographs have been published in various newspapers, magazines, and platforms.
Cennet Kuşca
based in Mersin, is both a photographer and a mathematics teacher. Her photography journey began in 2011 with basic photography training at BUFSAD. In 2014, she joined the ‘Mahzen Photos’ photography collective. Cennet specializes in documentary and street photography and has been active in the field since 2011. Burcu Böcekler , was born in İzmir and completed her undergraduate and Ph.D. studies in Art History at Ege University and her master’s degree in Photography at Dokuz Eylül University. Since 2009, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Photography and Video at Yıldız Technical University’s Faculty of Art and Design. In 2021, she earned the title of associate professor in photography. Burcu specializes in photo history and photo theory, with expertise in cyanotype, van dyke brown, gum bichromate, and black-and-white darkroom printing techniques. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses and has actively participated in international conferences and festivals, organizing workshops and exhibiting her photographic works.
